Village Panchayat Calangute celebrates India’s 77th Independence Day

CALANGUTE: The Village Panchayat of Calangute celebrated the 77th Independence Day of India. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the Indian Flag by the Sarpanch at the Panchayat premises. The Deputy Sarpanch gave a speech about Independence Day and its importance in the lives of Indians.

The villagers of Calangute and students actively participated in celebrating this auspicious day.

Later, a prayer service was held, followed by a ceremony to award the village for its achievements.
